BREAST REDUCTION

we understand that having large and heavy breasts can

neck and back pain. Breast Reduction is one of the
most common procedures done in plastic surgery and
is a procedure that can be covered by insurance. Symptoms
such as back pain, neck pain, rashes underneath the
breasts are symptoms that can occur due to large, pendulous
breasts.
The procedure removes skin tissue and fat to contour
the breast to a more appropriate shape that matches
your body. It is done as an out-patient procedure and
no drain is left in the patient. We perform breast
reduction surgery in a multitude of locations including
St. Margaret’s Hospital, Butler Hospital,
as well as our surgery center.
Recovery period is in the region of 1-2 weeks with
most of the discomfort disappearing within the first
